The Year for Priests Announced

13th May 2009

The Year for Priests was announced by Pope Benedict XVI at a meeting with members of the Congregation for Clergy on 16th March 2009, the Holy Father announced that it sould commence on June 19, 2009.  The year will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of St. Jean Vianney, Cure of Ars.
