Quotations

“The best advertisement for priesthood today, are happy fulfilled and hard working priests;  Thankfully there are many of these around our parishes and dioceses, and their continuing example brings others to think about and ask the question – ‘could I be called to priesthood too?.

Vocations Podcast Worth A Listen
podcast_logoThere are many methods of spreading the vocations message.   This young man from Nashville has chosen to desgin and record this podcast to highlight vocations.  While it is delivered in a casual and relaxed style, there are great insights from listening to the various contributors talk about how they discovered the Lord's call in their own life, but also what brought them to work in this ministry.
As the creator himself says; "The vocations are there, they are just not being answered. The hope I have in creating this podcast is threefold".

1. To offer thanks and gratitude to those who have answered the call to a religious vocation. We love you!
2. To foster the call to religious vocations in those whom God is calling to such a life, but have little or no other encouragement to pursue the calling.
3. To better inform the average lay person (especially myself) about the roles the religious person have in building up and adorning the Church.

About the host:  Marc is a native of Memphis Tennessee currently living in Gallatin Tennessee, which is in the Diocese of Nashville.  He is married and works as a software consultant.  His main inspiration (besides the Holy Spirit) for doing this podcast is the fact that the business travel in his job keeps him from being actively participating in parish level ministries.  This podcast is his way giving his time and talent to the Church while maintaining his busy travel schedule.
